The industrial-technological group CSG, owned by Czech entrepreneur Michal Strnad, has moved to a new address. Since April 1, 2024, the headquarters of the group is located at the Red Court building in Prague’s Karlín, at U Rustonky 714/1, Prague 8. This modern eight-story office building, which has received the LEED GOLD sustainability certification, is owned by the real estate fund BlackBird RE Fond SICAV a.s.
The CSG group leases office spaces in the building. An interesting detail is that a Tatra 57 car from the 1930s, nicknamed „Hadimrška,“ is placed in the lobby of the building. The car is on loan from the collection of Tatra Trucks.
AdmThe administrative building offers a total of 7,500 m2 of premium office spaces across eight floors and generously sized underground parking with nearly a hundred parking spots. The project was designed by CMC Architects. Extensive interior construction work was completed within 10 months by the end of March 2024.
The interior design, also prepared by CMC Architects, now offers a very high standard in terms of the technologies and materials used. The 9th floor features an exclusive terrace with a view of Prague Castle.
„For the CSG group, moving to new premises is a significant milestone and symbolizes its dynamic growth. We have outgrown leased floors in administrative buildings to the extent that we are now able to occupy almost an entire office building,“ stated DAVID CHOUR, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors & CSG Executive Director.
David Chour adding, „The new building also allowed us to consolidate all our companies, which were previously scattered across various locations in Prague or even outside the capital, which is not ideal when meeting with foreign customers and partners.“
The Red Court building also now houses Excalibur International, the export agency of the CSG group, as well as representatives of the CSG Aerospace division and other companies within the group. In April 2023, BlackBird Real Estate, owned by Czech entrepreneur Miroslav Dorňák, became the owner of the Red Court building after purchasing it from the developer J&T Real Estate CZ.
BlackBird Real Estate subsequently placed the building into the real estate fund BlackBird RE Fond SICAV a.s. The developer company BlackBird Real Estate also has its headquarters in the Red Court building.
